THE STORY OF INSTALLATION OF THE VISHWAJANINI / GODDESS DURGA BY P.P.TAI FOR WORLD PEACE AND HARMONY
It was during the 4th visit of Parampujya Leela Tai to the U.S.A. in June 1998 that we both joined her in New York, after 4 months of her stay in a different part of the country. Sometime back in the past , P.P. Tai had agreed us to take us someday to the Paramahansa Yogananda Ashram at Ranchi in India ,but for some reason that visit had not materialized then , Now P.P. Tai informed us in New York that one of the devotees had secured an appointment with Smt Dayamata, the president of Self Realization (SRF) Centre of Paramhansa Yogananda also known popularly as “Yogada Ashram” & that we could join her duing that visit. We were quite excited at the opportunity to visit Yogada Ashram in L.A. that too in the company of P.P. Tai.. We five devotees then visited the Ashram with Tai & had a co-ordial meeting with Smt Dayamata for nearly 30 minutes. Who then deputed two of her Sr. representatives to show us around on a comprehensive tour of the entire Ashram during which we also happened to see seen many number of different kind of trees planted by Shri Yoganandaji himself, which were brought from different countries all around the world . As we were walking around the ashram ,all of a sudden Lord Krishna asked P.P. Tai to halt at one particular place & told her to plan the installation of Vishwajanani Idol at L.A. for the purpose of World peace & asked her to accomplish this task in a span of 4 years.
Theses instructions were then discussed with Centre Heads of Shri Krishna Leela Centres at L.A. which was formed by P.P.Tai & were advised to organize a small place for the Temple till the Year 2002. Now the key pending issue was exactly which Idol was to be selected as a Vishwajanani, Lord Krishna told Tai to visit Shree Shaillya in Hyderabad & meditate. She visited there along with six other devotees and after undergoing deep meditation she was instructed by Lord Krishna to install the Idol of Goddess Navdurga of Madkai of Goa as Vishwajanani. In the month of December 2001 one of the devotees from Goa happened to visit Krishna Kutir at Badlapur as a casual visit. P.P. Tai then told that devotee that his visit was not routine and that Lord Krishna himself had sent him there with the prupose to entrust the work to visit Karkal in Karnataka & bring the Sculptor in Navdurga Temple at Madkai for making the 3.5 feet tall Idol of black stone in 3 months time. The Lord Krishna notified Tai the date of 7th October 2002 for installing Vishwajanani Idol in the Temple at Los Angeles , USA. Before that in the Year 2001 P.P.Tai had undertaken visits to all parts of India including borders, military & naval bases for the protection of people & world peace. When she visited the U.S.A. in 1996 Lord Krishna told her that there would be start of a revolution of the world in the Year 2005. When she visited Kerala along with about 34 devotees she had made Sthapana (Installation) of Vishwashanti Kalash which is kept at Krishna Kutir, Badlapur. P.P. Tai had undertaken visit to U.S.A. in June 2002 for the purpose of installing Vishwajanani in L.A. On 7th October 2002 ,. P.P. Tai specifically told me to send the Idol of Vishwajanani by Sea & not by Air freight, since it involved more than double cost. However I sent the Idol by Air freight as the same was not ready at given time but with grace of Lord Krishna the cost involved was even less than that shipped by Sea. We undertook a visit to U.S.A. in August 2002 & joined Tai at New York. Till that time the Temple location for the idol installation had not been finalized due to certain obstacles ,But as suggested by P.P. Tai we halted in L.A. on the way to Seattle on 24th September 2002 & organized a meeting with one Mr. M.P. Unial , who was one of the Directors of “Mother Institute of Sacred Sciences”, and who already had a Temple at Monrovia,L.A. Mr. Unial instantly agreed to allocate a place for installing the Idol & after looking at Tai told us to bring the same any time. The Idol got delivered the next day between 3-4 p.m. at auspicious time. The installation ( Pranpratisthapna ) of Vishwajanani Navdurga was conducted on 7th October 2002, the 1st day of Navratri as per schedule in presence of about 250 devotees.
We used to visit the Temple on all days during the Navratri along with P.P. Tai as she was doing Puja and meditation. Earlier during the visit, on advise of Lord Krishna, Tai asked one of the devotees to give 10 dollars to purchase seven white flowers to be offered to Vishwajanani after the Pranpratistha on 7th October 2002, the 1st day of Navratri, in Monrovia, L.A. Parampujya Tai offerd seven white Carnishan flowers, three each on the right & left side of the Goddess & one over the head. After the Pratisthapana, she was visiting the Temple all days during the Navratri to offer the prayers to Vishwajanani. On the third day i.e. 9th October 2002, when she was praying in front of Goddess, the flower over the head fell in the hand of Tai & Vishwajanani spoke to Tai as “ Krishna, you are very kind & generous & easily forgive devotees for their misconduct / misbehavior . Now that you have installed me & on your commandment, I shall protect devotees from foreseen revolution to take place in 2005…( as told by Krishna in 1996 during Tai’s visit to U.S.A. ) but unlike you, I will bless the devotees as per their devotion / bhakti and punish for their misconduct / misbehavior. Otherwise those devotees will never realize their mistakes & continue to repeat for the life time.” Parampujya Tai , after the conversation, P.P. Tai shown the flower to all devotees present in the temple & explaned the incident. In the temple Lord Krishna advised her to install eight more Vishwajanani Idols at different specified places. Installation of second Vishwajanani Idol was done by P.P. Tai in Radha Krishna Temple at New Delhi on 8th February 2003 & thereafter on 10th February 2003 she left her mortal body in Delhi without any kind of prior indication thus leaving all Krishna Leela center devotees shocked / shattered & distraught with grief due to this sad event. With grace of Lord Krishna the Krishna Kutir Pariwar had taken up the work of installing another six Vishwajanani Idols at places specified by P.P. Tai in her diary.

The Ninth Vishwajanani Idol is pending installation in Doha, in the Gulf region arabic country of Qatar, where unfortunately currently any form of idol worship is illegal and thus not allowed ,we are hoping that rule will change soon. Even though P.P. Leelatai is not with us today in physical body ,her divine presence is deeply felt by the devotees everywhere. Even today many devotees attending the Krishna Leela Centre’s continue to experience miraculous experiences on a regular basis. On 20th June 2009 she conveyed to us all a message through Maharshi Krishnananda, who is in contact with Saptarishis(The Seven Sages) & Saptalokas(Seven Realms), his ashram is based at Antarmanasa in Taponagar. Bangalore, when she was present with us in subtle body. Her message is “Meditate & Change” ,this has to be conveyed to all the devotees over the world.. According to her we should compulsorily allocate suitable time from our routine work & do “ meditation” everyday to be protected from the impending crisis looming over the world. ..Jai Shree Krishna.
